Hi, Kim here after a long time. Sorry to her about your uncle - looked a kind and wise man. Not that you can tell from a photo but . . . . . . How are you ? Since last we communicated I have had two more ops and the right ankle is now fused to the tib and fib. The ankle is still amazingly flexible and driving is no problem. Walking up hills a bit difficult. Now that's fixed, the knee on the other leg has decided it needs some attention. Surgeon says I'm too young for a replacement but that's what we are looking at eventually. As we have said, don't think much about this getting old malarky. Christmas and New Year I managed to get off work so it was good to be with the family. Seems a long time ago now. Fairly glad to say goodbye to 2013. All best wishes and hope that your recovery is on target. Ching Ching old thing. Kim.
Nice to hear from you. Yes - my uncle will be much missed. A hugely extrovert yet strangely private man, well read and a great lover of classical music and football. He lived for many years in Woodlands park next to Joydens Woods where we had many walks in times gone by. Glad to hear that you've come through your ops in good spirits. I'm not in too bad a shape at the moment though I have to rest frequently when i exert myself. Anyway I wish you the best for 2014. At times I can scarcely believe I've lasted this long:-)
